A high-rise building in Southwest Florida is considered to be 8 or more stories. The city of Naples doesn't normally contain more than 22 stories or 265 feet in height (but there are exceptions). A high-rise building in Southwest Florida mainly contains condominiums and usually has more amenities than a mid-rise or a low-rise building because the space allows it and the clientele demands it. There is often a grand lobby, 24-hour security, pools, tennis and sub-building parking or a separate parking structure all together. There are also sweeping views, which is an obvious byproduct of living on the top floors.

What is a Tray Ceiling?
A Tray Ceiling has a recessed midsection that's higher than the perimeter walls, which provides a sense of spaciousness. This style has a clean, simple finish with an extra layer of crown molding. Summary
Built in the late 1990s, Cove Towers is located approximately 3-miles northwest of the shopping and restaurants at the Mercato Shopping Center and approximately 1-mile northeast of Delnor-Wiggins Preserve and Beach (by car). Driving to Cove Towers from the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) takes approximately 35-minutes and driving to Fort Lauderdale takes approximately 95-minutes using "Alligator Alley". Cove Towers is a 24-hour guard gated community. Comprised of five buildings, Cove Towers has multiple floor plans to choose from. There are two pools in Cove Towers. Montego and Nevis share a pool and clubhouse and Aruba, Baquia and Caribe share the other pool and clubhouse. Cove Towers has amenities such as Pool and Fitness Center, but have access via membership to golf, tennis and boating through the Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club. Property and Home Style(s)
  • The Cove Towers sits atop less than a hundred acres of land and is set along side Wiggins Bay which feeds into the Gulf of Mexico.
  • All five buildings have four residences per floor. The Caribe, Bequia and Aruba were the first three towers built. The building elevators open into covered walkways leading to the unit entrances.
  • The Montego and Nevis are the last two buildings built of the five. The elevators in these two buildings open into the interior of the residences. In addition to the optional membership of Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club, owners in the Montego and Nevis have access to the Calypso Club which houses the pool, fitness, dining and other amenities.
  • The five towers range in size from 15-18 stories in height.
  • The residences in the newer towers (Montego and Nevis) are larger in square footage than the older three buildings (1,600 - 2,500 square feet vs. 2,400 - 2,700 square feet).

  • There is no golf on the property but with membership to the Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club, one would have access to Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club.

Golf
  • There is no golf on the property but with membership to the Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club, one would have access to Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club.
  • Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club features 27-holes of championship golf designed by Gordon Lewis (north and south course) and Bruce Howard (east course).
  • There is a driving range, practice green and PGA accredited staff/pro to help with swing instruction and golf course management.
  • The Pro Shop offers the latest in Golf Apparel and accessories, hosts demo events, club fitting, re-gripping, spike replacement plus a summer reciprocal program.
Tennis
  • Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club has six Har-Tru tennis courts with plenty of tennis activity for players of all skill levels.
  • Accredited Tennis Pros and the use of the automatic tennis ball machine are available to help improve your skills.
  • The tennis courts are lit for evening play.
Pool
  • There are two pools in Cove Towers. Montego and Nevis share a pool (+ spa) and Aruba, Baquia and Caribe share the other pool (+ spa). Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club also have pool services and wet areas.
Fitness
  • The Fitness Center at the Calypso Club has state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including cardiovascular, strength machines, free weights and a designated stretching area (exclusive to Montego and Nevis).
  • There is a spa and private massages available at the Calypso Club (exclusive to Montego and Nevis).

  • Cove Towers is on a waterway with gulf access and has one bridge obstruction to the gulf.

  • Members of the Tarpon Cove Yacht & Racquet Club have access to a 40-foot pontoon boat, named the "Cove Runner" that ferries members to the Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park at the mouth of Wiggins Bay.
  • Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park offers white sand beaches, grilling facilities, picnic areas, and restrooms facilities.

  • A Charter Membership is only available to residents of the community and or purchasers of yacht slips in the Wiggins Bay Marina and require the payment of a onetime non-refundable, non-equity membership fee.
  • The amount of Associate Memberships are made available as determined by the Club. Associate Memberships are renewable at the end of each dues year at the sole discretion of the Club.

What is a Boat Slip Lease?
A Boat Slip Lease means that a boat slip can be leased from the Home Owners Association of a property but most often a lease must be made by a property owner from within the building our community. Besides having a place to dock your boat a leased boat slip can increase the value of your property as well as attract more renters if your HOA approves units to be leased. Maintenance is usually handled by the HOA (Home Owners Association), but maintenance conditions may vary.

What is a Homeowner's Association (HOA)?
An organization in a subdivision, planned community or condominium complex that makes and enforces rules for the properties in its jurisdiction. HOAs also collect monthly or annual dues to pay for upkeep of common areas like parking lots, tennis courts, elevators and swimming pools and can levy special assessments on homeowners when the association lacks sufficient reserves to pay for planned and unexpected repairs.
